Did you look in cPanel, as I advised you to do?

If you have repeatedly tried to login to FTP with the wrong details then your broadband ip address may be blocked by the server. Contact your hosting company to find out.

What FTP programme are you using to try and connect? I recommend either FileZilla (free), the Fire FTP plug-in for the Firefox browser (free), or WS FTP Home (30 day free trial).

Actually there's no point in you sending me details which don't work for you, as they won't work for me either.

Only you can sort out what the correct ftp address/host address, user name and password is.

If all else fails then raise a support ticket with your hosts and ask them what they should be.

Contact your hosting provider, they should be able to give you all you need:
Also ftp is not secure, preferred is scp, or at least sftp.

FileZilla is certainly insecure, whether you use FTP or SFTP as the upload/download method - because FileZilla stores all User Names and Passwords in a plain text file. So if you save connections in FileZilla and someone accesses your PC then they also have access to all those stored connections.

I'd recommend WS FTP Pro, provided by ipswitch.com. WS FTP Home does not provide for SFTP whereas Pro does, but both encrypt User Names and Passwords stored in the programme.

    Perhaps try
    ftp.yoursite.com
    as the host.

The port may well be set to default and not need you to enter it.
