Not enough info from you. We need Zen Cart version, mods installed from the default and if you can specs on the server you are using to narrow down the issue you are having.

v1.3.9h
no mods
OS/Hosting Type: Linux/Shared Hosting
Hosting Configuration: 2.2
PHP Version: PHP 5.x
I get an email from Paypal that a purchase has been made.
When I go to report in the admin panel for the ZenCart it shows no sales. Seems like the two aren't talking?
Sorry if I'm not getting you all the info you need
Ok, sounds like you may not have paypal setup correctly. Are you using IPN or the checkout express?
Make sure you are using the "PRIMARY" paypal email address in the module settings and be sure that you have the return URL's set correctly.

I'm using IPN
I have the primary email right.
I copied and pasted that info below into PayPal
set your Instant Payment Notification Preferences URL to:
http://vintagejetboats.com/VJBCart/ipn_main_handler.php
(If another valid URL is already entered, you may leave it alone.)
Be sure that the Checkbox to enable IPN is checked!
in Website Payments Preferences set your Automatic Return URL to:
http://vintagejetboats.com/VJBCart/i...eckout_process
Were the return urls just inserted now or were they done before this problem started?

been there the whole time.
In the zen cart admin panel it still says Processing too. I don't know if that means anything?
Is this a fresh install of 1.3.9h or an upgrade from a previous version?

This is a fresh install
under the paypal module settings at the very bottom click on debug mode and set it to log and email. Then process a transaction using a different paypal account or creditcard. There is going to be an error and the error code will be emailed to you. Paste that error message here.
