FCK Editor and 1.3.9h

Hi,
been having problems with uploading images in FCK Editor and Zencart 1.3.9h. (I dont want to change editor)
I just need this to work when starting up stores. WHen all content is inserted I delete the upload function to prevent hacking.

Have searched around the forum and also tried the common suggestion with editing the .htaccess file (adding |xml to it) in editors-folder but it doesnt help me?
Only thing that makes it work is to delete the .htaccess-file completely but that probably isnt a good idea.
Does anyone have a idea or does someone have this fully functional on 1.3.9h?
My .htaccess looks like this now:

Maybe your hosting, htaccess I think is for apache, so if your hosting is not that could be the problem. Talk to the folk hosting the site.

we have fck editor on sites with Zencart 1.3.8 at the same host and its works great.
So this is not hosting related I think.

The host is running apache.

have no one else got this problem?

Yes, I am having the same problem. I also tried a current product and will not let me add an image or even a link in the description area. Does not open a box like it used to and my computer closes out FireFox.

Have you tried removing the htaccess from the server editors/htaccess to see if this makes a difference? I know it's security to have it but removing it temporarily might give you some guidance.

I have been running CKEditor on my stores ever since DrByte pointed me into that direction (thanks Doc )

Installation is easy - you can always revert back to the old FCKeditor.

If you don't get the same problem you currently encounter with FCKeditor then all's good.

If you still have the same problem then let's look elsewhere for a solution ...
