Comfirmation email to activate account

Hi everyone, hope someone cal help with this one.

I want to send a confirmation email to activate one account, I mean, if someone creates an account they should receive an email with a link to activate his/her account. I guess zencart has this option or at least one mod to do this.

Far as I know, no one has written a mod to do that. Comes up in the forum every now and then, though.

well I will discuse this with the client, and if he really needs it, I guess I'll have to write it, and sure I will share the code (even when my code is really ugly). Take care, thanks for the answer.

How do you learn to write coed for MOD's like that?

well I happen to work under a lot of pressure, cause of my boss and clients, so I can come up with a solution but will not claim to be the best one.

In case, just in case, I have to get it done, I will share the code and hopefully it will become a mod with the help of the community.
