Default New install of 1.39g says database needs patching?

H everyone. I just did a fresh install of ZenCart 1.39g the other day, and it's telling me the database needs to be patched to a higher level.

Looking over everything in Tools - Server Info, it says the database is in fact version 1.39g. Any idea of what might be happening here?

    Have you installed any addons?
What exactly is ALL the version information showing in Admin->Tools->Server Info ? (Zen Cart version, Database version, history, etc)

The only addition I've used is Easy Populate, and it was doing this before I even touched that. I mean, literally, as soon as I was done with the install, it started showing the database message.

I copied everything showing in Server/Version info to the attached doc file.

As far as what's showing in Server/Version Info, here's the top part, if you mean EVERYTHING, let me know.

That's what I suspected. Some of your files in the /includes/ folder are damaged or missing. Re-upload them using your FTP program.

    Hello DrByte,

Or should I say Sensei ;)

I seem to be having a similar problem, but includes seems to be up to date. Here's what I've got in the server info:

    Zen Cart 1.3.9g

    Database Patch Level: 1.3.8

    v1.3.8 [2009-05-01 14:39:43] (Fresh Installation)

    Please advise,

    Ray

That means you've updated your PHP files, but didn't run zc_install to do the database-upgrade step.

One would have assumed that Fantastico would have done that for me. Now where can I find that file to run it manually?

NEVER EVER use fantastico or any other automated tool to do your upgrades for you.

Follow the upgrade instructions and do it the safe way: yourself. https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=98
