Turn off discounts on attributes

I have a digital download store and I want to give people the opportunity to order a CD instead of a digital download. I have the price of the CD set at $9, however, if the product is on sale the attribute is discounted by the same percentage. Can I turn off attribute discounts some how?

Also, I want to set up all products to include the digital download automatically. The download is the same number as the model number. Is there someway to do this in a bulk setting, and not having to do them one at a time? I am not sure if Easy Populate or some other modification will do the trick.

There is a setting on each Attribute for:

Apply Discounts Used
by Product Special/Sale:
No Yes

That is exactly what i was looking for and did find it. I am struggling in figuring out how to apply this change to all of my products at one time, as I have many products and would be at it for a long time, if i have to do it one at a time.

If you want ALL Attributes to have the discount turned OFF you could run this command, after backing up your database:

UPDATE products_attributes SET attributes_discounted = 0;
