Problem changing to a different template

Hi everybody!
I cant change from my current template (Cherry Zen) to a different one. Am I limited to 1 installed template and not able to switch without deleting Cherry Zen first?

I have the same problem on a new install.
Some history:
Old site was v1.38a
New install v1.39h - Imported old v1.38 DB and upgraded the DB to 1.39 with template (Cherry Zen - new version for 1.39). I cant switch to a different template.

Any Ideas

No you can have multiple templates installed,

1) is this a new template you have created or one you have adapted or downloaded from somewhere
2) you have uploaded the new template to your server?
3)is the template showing in your control panel Admin --> Tools --> Template selection

The template I want to use is "aqua-blue". Another version of bask_black available here in the DL section.

Yes it is uploaded and it is available in admin.

I click "edit" select it and click "update" Says aqua-blue is now (default).

It does'nt switch to it. I tried setting the language to english and goto box controller to reset the boxes but it still is on cherry zen.

This template installs fine if cherry zen is not installed first.

I think I figured it out. I needed to delete the language association. Once I did that it worked.

Good to know, and thanks for posting back on how you got it to work, it may help someone else who has a similar problem.
