I am using Zen Cart for the first time.
1) Is there an explanation of the differences among Category, Product type, Option and attributes? How they are usually used?
2) I want to set up a product hierarchy tree for searching, reporting, pricing, etc. Which are used for what purpose?
3) Can a product belong to more than one Category, Product type or have mulitple attributes?
4) Is there a similar setup for Customer types, channels i.e., retail, wholesale, price groups, etc.
I am used to large corporate order processing systems, so maybe it is not relevant, but I would like to plan a little before resorting to trial and error.
