    Default UPS and USPS shipping have stopped working

    So I've looked through the forum and I haven't been able to find any specific to my issue. I have found either USPS or UPS but not both. So here is the issue my client http://smmotorco.com/ has lost international shipping.

    He gives free shipping in the US48 (zone set up for US48) and we use UPS USPS for international shipping (zone set up for that). The shipping was working in Dec. of last year then I received an email from him saying that his Int'l clients are getting "Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time." and the calculator on the shopping cart page calculates nothing.

    My settings for both UPS and USPS are

    I tried reloading the modules, uploading new shipping files, not to mention searching for a godaddy issue (thats his server) or any other issues that could explain both not working. I also tried switching the zone to US48 and I'm not getting anything there either. Any help would be very appreciative thanks

    As per another post I did a search USPS.php in the developers tool kit and this is what I got

    As to the UPS shipping module, what is the:
    Weight ?
    Ship From address?
    Ship To address?

    and how do you have defined the International Zone Definition on the Details?

    From What I can my client has no weight set.

    The ship from address is Tampa FL the to I am using to check is London. 1 Berkeley Street
    London
    London
    W1J 8DJ
    United Kingdom

    details are set all zones all countries.

    I know this was working in the past so I'm confused as how they both have broken now


    Also does it matter if he has a his products set to
    Always Free Shipping: Yes, Always Free Shipping

    Also this was the original problem he was seeing

    "There still seems to be an error when our international customers attempt to checkout. It either gives them a white blank screen or tells them we aren't shipping to their region at this time. Any idea what it could be?"

    If you go to the Modules ... Shipping ... see which shipping modules are installed ...

    1 make sure if a Sort Order is used on 1 or more shipping module that is not 0, that ALL installed shipping modules use unique Sort Orders that are not 0

    2 Click on each of the installed Shipping Module and paste the information in the right panel so we can see the settings

    A Product marked as Always Free Shipping means the Product is Free Shipping for *everyone* ...

    But, you have set a Zone on the FREE SHIPPING freeshipper shipping module ...

    So you are blocking the International people from being able to checkout on an Order that only contains the Products marked as Always Free Shipping ...

    The Zone on FREE SHIPPING freeshipper is there for people writing code who might need this setting for customizations ... otherwise, you do not use the Zone setting ...

    What happens if you add a Product to the cart that has weight and is not marked as Always Free Shipping, do UPS and USPS show for International?

    Funny you should ask that I tried that originally before you second response and nothing. I just tried it again and got UPS to work. Still no USPS but I haven't tried the fix you gave me above yet.

    So how should be set up if I want free shipping for 48 states but shipping costs for international?
