Trouble installing 1.3.9h

I keep going round and round trying to install 1.3.9h
I get to the point of giving my database information and I get this :
Connection to Database failed
Access denied for user 'jersey-subs'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I'm assuming that the username is what I use to acces my DB and the pass is what I use to acces as well

the database name I believe to be the name of the database name for the zencart that I want to install...is the wrong?

Many shared hosts attach the control panel user name to the database name, so if your control panel user name is black68 and you named the Zencart database zencart, Zencart will need black68_zencart in the database name field.
