    Default Cant edit products after creating them

    So, I have never came across such an issue before.
    I am using a fresh install of 1.3.9h. Everything seems to work ok, and I was able to create categories and products.

    Once a product is created, it is visible online and displays everything fine. However, when I click on the product in admin, or click on the green edit button, the description and product titles disappear.

    Basically, when I try to edit the product, or add more text to it, the only fields that keep information are manufacturers, price, and quantity.

    The title and description are completely blank.

    Any idea what can cause this? Built dozens of zen-cart sites, never came across this problem. Please help!!!

    Linda, thank you for such a quick reply.
    I am using an older version php.

    I followed the instruction, and it fixed the product title and product model.

    However, the product description is still missing. Any idea how to fix that?

    For giggles and grins, go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in that bottom input box enter:
    htmlspecialchars

    select Catalog/Admin ... Click Search ...

    do any of the lines have that 4th parameter in them?

    i missed one of the instances of 'TRUE' in includes/modules/product/collect_info.php


    it's all fixed now.

    thank you so much, I was going crazy thinking that I would have to do so much extra work!!!!
