ZC v1.3.9h
PHP v5.2.16
I go to Store Manager > Cleanup Debug Log Files and click Confirm. Message states, Debug Log Files Purged.
If I look in /includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs, I still see tons of paypal .log files. Any ideas?

Debug log files are stored in your_store.com/cache and are named something like
myDEBUG-1293716851-970836.log
They are not stored in /includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs.
The PayPal logs are not cleaned up with that option, just the /cache ... you can clean them up via FTP or in your Control Panel's File Manager ...

One tip though: before cleaning out the debug logs you may want to download the files to your local machine and check for any recent repeated similar files - there could be a 'bug' somewhere which would go unnoticed ....
I know this is a 10 year old post but I did this very thing downloaded my cart files to a local cloud and to do a mirror back up of that file to a USB drive. I can not delete those files. Does anyone know how I can delete the log files in "/includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs" ???????Once again, this not not on the server but a back up on a local machine which was a backup I downloaded via phpadmin
Delete the entire folder includes/modules/payment/paypal/logs
Recreate the folder, and add in a .htaccess and index.html file (from a fresh download).

I tried that. All the parent folders have a write permission thing going on.
Then you'll need to fix that. Do a web search for "fix folder permissions in Windows."
