IE not displaying properly, but Firefox, chrome OK

Good Day.

Recently was hacked. Upgraded from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9h

Got most things sorted out, however I am having issues with IE (8)



The site displays as I want it to when I use Chrome or Firefox, however when I use my IE it is showing the default green zencart. (My colors, logo, etc are not showing)

I had a friend check, and he says it works on his IE.

So, if you have a moment, please check and see if you are getting the default green zen template or my blue mini brutes one in ie.

I'm seeing the Classic (green) template in all browsers, which is as it should be, since your source code says you have the Classic template selected, rather than your custom one.

Hmmm. even more interesting.

My friend gets all browsers to show ok, I only get ff and chrome, and you get the green in all.

First stop should be Admin - Tools - Template Selection. What template do you have selected (or did you modify the Classic Template) ?

If you clear your browser cache in FF, do you still see the blue ?

yeah, modded the classic.

I made some changes to the css, now it is pretty horrible in all browsers!

I think it may have been a cache related issue on my end.

More tinkering ahead.

What you're seeing now is template_default. The Classic template is enabled by default, but it isn't the default template.

If you don't mind a suggestion, create your custom template now, and work on that rather than Classic. The Classic folders and files may be overwritten during an upgrade and you'd have to start all over again.

Heh. Yup, that is exactly what happened.

Combination of interesting cache problems and overwritten and lost CSS and images.

I have not changed the template yet, but the classic is now re-modded.
