    Default Total Rookie to Zen and PHP having trouble after ADMIN renaming

    Zen 1.3.9

    Everything was going well until I renamed the includes /admin/ sections. I get this error and have no idea what it means.

    The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
    The script had an error or it did not produce any output. If there was an error, you should be able to see it in the error log.

    Any help is very appreciated.

    yahoo name is oleancomputers as well if you rather chat to understand the issue.

    Let's try to figure out what you mean.

    You said you renamed the includes /admin/ section
    Did you change the name of the includes folder or the admin folder name?

    If you changed the includes folder name, change it back.
    If you changed the /admin/ folder name, make sure you edit the /includes/configure.php file and make the appropriate changes. Then edit the /new admin folder name/includes/configure.php to reflect the change.

    I changed the /admin/ folder name only to /83BOSton/

    And then changed both configure.php files as shown below.

    define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/Zstore/83BOSton/');

    define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/Zstore/83BOSton/');

    define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/hermes/bosweb/web141/b1412/ipw.oleancom/Zstore/83BOSton/');

    I think I did that right...I've been reading it to the letter. MySql database seems to have populated itself with lots of "fields" Looks like logical data.

    Thanks for the thought. If you have another idea or notice this as wrong. Let me know!!

    Only the configure.php in your admin directory should be changed. The one in /includes/ has no reference to the admin directory.

    thanks for the help guys. I created a new "testing site" to get things right and it worked. Not sure what I corrupted on the old one but so far this looks very promising. I'll be doing lots of surfing of the built in options. Awesome looking work open source peeps. I'll surely donate when I get this up and going. Great job....
