Error 500 when trying to change billing address

Wonder if you can help, hope so

I have recently upgraded to v1.39

Now during the checkout phase, step 2 of 3 Payment Information, when clicking the Change your Address button to change my billing address i am getting an Internal 500 Server error.

A "500 - Internal Server" error is often .htaccess file related. Other than that there's little anyone can tell you.

I don't believe i have touched the .htaccess files during the upgrade

The .htaccess files will have changed, because 1.3.9h uses more .htaccess files and they are different to the 1.3.8 .htaccess files.

Take a look in the Docs folder for .htaccess changes. I know there are references to .htaccess in there.

There is also information in the .htaccess files themselves.

Having looked a little further the .htaccess files are not being used as the website is hosted on IIS.

It appears to be a problem with only this particular webpage, index.php?main_page=checkout_shipping_address, since upgrading.

Remove the .htaccess files. .htaccess only works on Apache web servers anyway.

Yes i have now removed all instances but the problem still exists.

Any other possible resolutions?

Try changing the 1.3.9h includes/classes/shopping_cart.php file with the one from 1.3.9g

If that doesn't work then look through your Zen Cart 'Configuration' listings for one of the sessions settings with appends a dot (period) to the domain name and set that to false.
