is csv possible?

I have a client that would like to set his store up via a product csv file--he has about 2000 products to add so wants to do it like this.

I am not sure if it is possible and would like some advice on how or where to get a mod for it...as you can see I am a bit lost with this request.

You can try EP, but I had a lot of trouble with it. I found that Apsona Shop Admin looks and works much better, has support available, and enables you to change things on the fly.....
