    Default Paypal issues -two

Hi- My client says she hasn't been getting orders, and I looked and saw that I have been getting emails that go into my spam folder. Those emails say,"ALERT: PayPal Express Checkout Error (10001)".

Then inside they say,"10001 Internal Error - Timeout processing request". Paypal says they are coming from Zen cart, because the email address they're coming from isn't active on the paypal account. (true, it is not, but it is the tech email on zen cart.)

Second problem: I placed an order the other day successfully using my credit card. I got a page that said, thank you, your order has been placed. But my client didn't get an order email, and the amount isn't showing up on my visa account. The order isn't appearing under Customer>orders on Zen cart admin.

I am using v1.3.9, PayPal Website Payments Pro (USA) and PayPal Express Checkout. For Paypal express I have these set up:
    API Signature -- Username
    API Signature -- Password
    API Signature -- Signature Code

My client has a business pro account with paypal, and express checkout is live. I'm lost! Not sure what is wrong or where to look.

Yes, the *email* is coming from Zen Cart.
The *cause* of the problem is exactly as you say: a problem with your PayPal account configuration, which you'll need to sort out with PayPal directly.

So do you believe that the information I have entered into Zen cart is wrong, or that Paypal is handling the information the cart sends them incorrectly?

"10001 Internal Error - Timeout processing request" is an error message sent back by PayPal because of a problem *they* are having.
There is no way for me to guess what could possibly be wrong on their end. That's up to them to sort out. www.paypal.com/mts

Do you have any idea why I would have been able to successfully complete an order (Get to the thank you page) and the store owner didn't get an order, and I don't see the amount on my credit card?

    Thanks again.

It doesn't work like that out-of-the-box with the built-in modules.
Only way that would happen is if you've got a bug in your site due to addons, customizations, bad FTP uploads, or whatever.
