    Default Public-end redirects failing

    Site: PortableRadios.com
    Zen-Cart v1.3.8a
    Windows server 2008 IIS7.5
    PHP v5.2.13 run as FastCGI

I've recently moved my website from Windows server 2003 IIS6 server to Windows server 2008 IIS7.5 and now anytime I go to a page that has a redirect the page just stalls. This only happens on the public side, the redirects in the administration work fine. Also, everything worked fine on the old server (IIS6).

By redirect I mean if you try to log in, add a product to the cart, etc. I've looked over the server logs and the page comes up as a 200, so everything is fine on that end.

    I've tried different combinations already:
    Disabled SSL for the cart
Changed it to run as FastCGI, CGI and ISAPI
Tried running it under PHP v4.4.7

I even tried installing the latest Zen-Cart v1.3.9h with all the different settings above, it still had the same issue.

Does anyone have other ideas I could try to get this thing working?

Do you require the win server for anything else?

It's a vps and unfortunately a majority of the sites I host on it are ASP and .NET

I haven't edited any of the files just transfered them to the new server. Could the windows server converted them during the transfer. If so, do you know if there might be a way to mass-convert from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1?

What browser are you using that shows the BOM? I've tried it on Chrome and IE-8 and didn't see the characters.

I see them when using Firefox, and when using IE 8. They are a sure indication that files have at least been opened in a plain text editor which uses utf-8 as its default mode of operation.

It appears that I removed all the BOMs and the issue still stands with the redirect. Any other ideas?

What I see is a blank page issue

    /index.php?main_page=index&cPath=7
    /index.php?main_page=index&cPath=14

Are just 2 that I found may be more

Have a Drink Re: Public-end redirects failing

Finally got it fixed. Thank you, kobra, for the tutorials link. I just couldn't figure out what term to search for in the forums and help.
Turns out when I converted the files (there were only 5) from UTF-8, the files replaced the BOM character with a space in front of the opening PHP tags. Once I removed the spaces everything worked fine.

Again, thank you for all your help.
