Default Language Pack Font Size Problem

I am creating a new language pack. When I use English my font sizes are fine. When I use my new language, the font sizes are way too big.

When I got into stylesheet.css and change the body font-size:

to a lower number, it will change the "sales message" but no other fonts.

I edited all the files in includes/language

I'm afraid I accidentally changed something that is telling it to override or ignore the main stylesheet?

can anyone tell me what I might have changed in those files that would cause this?

    Thanks.

What is the language you are using for the new language pack? Is this happening in all browsers? A URL where the problem can be seen?

    Vietnamese UTF-8
I set english to UTF-8 as well and it works fine.

I've tried Chrome & IE and it's happening in both.

Actually, by checking IE i see a few other issues too.

    The URL is

    www.hoatuoimaithao.com/store

    It defaults to Vietnamese,

the first UK flag is for Vietnamese
the second UK flag is for English (I haven't gotten to changing the logos yet).

Even the additional layout problems are only in the Vietnamese side...

    thx

Default Layout font size problem with UTF-8

so, i've changed my english.php and vietnamese.php to UTF-8 for both the regular side & admin. I also added the extra file to make my CHARSET utf-8.

my emails send right. all the text displays correctly on the site.

BUT, when certain of the files in the "vietnamese" folder are called, the text gets huge & the layout gets thrown off.... i finally found the culprits & just used HTML style vietnamese on those... and it fixed... the HOME PAGE only

but then when i go to other pages, they call other .php files & i get the problem all over again.

i'm using EditPad Lite to do my editing. Of course in order to type in Unicode, I need to change the encoding of the file to UTF-8 and that seems to be the problem. Even if I leave all the English normal characters in place, if I simply convert the file to UTF-8 encoding & upload it, voila, it causes the problems.

    Any help?

You can check it out at www.hoatuoimaithao.com... for an example of it changing to the huge font, click "Login"

methinks i've found my problem... i was using editpad lite instead of notepad++ and it didn't have the option of UTF-8 without BOM...

redoing all the files now (thankful for macros) and will confirm it.

    thx,
