Best Sellers Reloaded...

This contribution will allow you to display your best sellers on the main page of your website (in the centre column) - just like featured products.

You can control various aspects (such as image size and number of columns) of the best sellers centre box from the admin.

Many thanks for this - just one quick thought. Our bestsellers are low value items but we don't really want to show anything below a certain value. Could you add an admin defined filter to prevent them displaying?

Good idea. This can easily be added (and I'll do so when I make the next release).

Basically, products with a gross price below XX.XX (a value controlled via the admin) will not be displayed. I guess I'll have to think about what happens to products with specials active.

OK, I'm very tired and am almost certainly missing something very obvious but...

From the readme it says:

5 - Open your main CSS file (includes\templates\YOUR-TEMPLATE-NAME\css\stylesheet.css) and search for '.centerBoxContentsFeatured'. Add '.centerBoxContentsBestSellers' to the same class as '.centerBoxContentsFeatured' (you should have to do this 3 times).

Why would I need to do it 3 times?

works great except...always an exception. the title 'best seller' is not the same color as the rest of my page. i assume thats going to be in the css file. problem is where? i tried the main css and the tpl.css in MY_TEMPLATE and can't seem to locate where the color scheme is. any idea? thaks

Have you tried using the Web Developer Toolbar with Firefox to locate the correct CSS to edit?

Also, do you have a link to your website?

site is http://www.tias-lingerie.com best sellers should be the second section the letters are white so you can't see them with the background. the people that design my template told me

you should look into the includes/templates/TEMPLATE_NAME/stylesheet.css file. The properties of the headings of the New Products, Featured Products that appear on the main page should be defined infoboxHeading class in this file.

i went there and think i know where it is just don't know what code to put in it. this is the code they are talking about or i think they are talking about.

Thanks for the mod - just a quick question..

Is it possible with Best Sellers Reloaded to display not only on the homepage but on Category pages like Feature items? (Show Featured Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories)

Also can we set the Best Sellers to display in ranking order or is it always random with center boxes?
