tried to install zencart on opensuse 11.4 and got this error:

Exactly as the message says: You need to contact your server administrator to have them set date.timezone in the server's php.ini

its not on the server, i am trying to run it on my local machine running opensuse 11.4
Okay, then *you* are the server administrator.
You'll need to update your server's PHP configuration by setting the date.timezone setting.
