How do I Access my Admin to add products?

Hi,

I've just installed Zen Cart on my local machine as a test.

I've installed the Demo site and watched to add products and change some of the products titles etc...

But I do not know how to access the control panel to change these setting?

Log into the admin side
Once there
go to
admin > catalog > categories/products > select a category > if it has no sub cats you can add a product

If it has sub cats < select a sub cat > add products

is watched supposed to be wanted?

makes a bit of difference to your meaning

you need to login to your admin folder using the password and username you set up during install

I think the default admin folder name is zc_admin? or admin,

Sorry yes it should be wanted.

I've installed zen cart and set up a demo site. My last process was that I renamed the admin folder for security.

When I access localhost I can see my website but do not know how to access the page to change/add products.

what message do you get when you go to the admin folder in your browser?

To access the demo site I type in my browser 'http://localhost:8888/' which gives me the demo site.

I then type in 'http://localhost:8888/mysecretadminarea/' which I guess gives me access to the admin area?

I think I have to comment out these lines as I'm running it locally,

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', '/home/mystore.com/www/public/mysecretadminarea/');
define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/home/mystore.com/www/public/');
