Default Missing Menu Categories on https side

    Non Secure site: http://islandrainnaturalsoap.ca
    Secure site: https://islandrainnaturalsoap.ca

    Zen-Cart version 1.3.9h

Mod: CSS Dropdown Menu with alt categories display
    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...12#post1007212

    Problem:
Categories menus display exactly as I want them on the non-secure part of the site but as soon as you view your cart or login, the categories menu list disappears.

Currently I am uploading all files to both the http & https, in other words I have to duplicate then for the non-secure & secure parts.

At first I thought it might be the menu mod causing the problem but the more I look the more I think it might be the way the server is configured. I've seen mentioned Symlink a bunch of places. If someone could look at the site and either confirm my suspicions or point me in another direction I would greatly appreciate it.

First store, first time ever setting up a site on a server.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, because I'm not familiar with this mod, but you have an extra stylesheet being called on the secure pages. stylesheet_categories_menu.css and it is not being called on the non-secure pages.
You probably have it in uploaded in the secure directory and not in the other. There maybe something in it that is causing them to not display on the secure pages. Or you might need to call it last, instead of just after the stylesheet.css. I highly recommend CSS Javascript loader.

enchantedneedle.....THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU......

I removed all the files from the secure part and re-uploaded the ones from the ones I've been using on the non-secure part as they should be exactly the same and that fixed it.

As the files should have been exactly the same I would never have thought that was the problem until you pointed out the CSS file that should not have been there.

No problem, glad I could help. If you use firefox, get the firebug add on. It is very helpful in finding out what is wrong. Especially when it is something like this that doesn't create an error log file.

I believe I have that add-on, never occurred to me to use it for that problem though.
