Default No need for PhPMyAdmin on new install?

    Hi,

Its a while since I last installed a new full version of zencart on a webhost.

    I have downloaded zen-cart-v1.3.9h-full-fileset-10262010.
I uploaded it in full to my webhost via my ftp program.
I prior to this created a MySQL database.

    I have followed zen-cart-v1.3.9h-full-fileset-10262010/docs/1.readme_installation.html

I cant see anything mentioned about PhPMyAdmin.
If I am not misstaken I need to upload something to my PhPMyAdmin?

I cant seem to find any information on this. No doubt it is there, only I dont find it.

    Where should I look?

    Thanks in advance.

For a new installation, simply follow the instructions in the Zen Cart installer and your database will be populated during the process.

    Goodie goodie,
So what you are saying to a semi-novice on a novice level is - PhphMyAdmin will be automatically updated? Or?

    Thanks for your help

Well ... not exactly. phpMyAdmin a program that is used on web server to access the mySQL database. The Zen Cart installer populates the database you have already created.

    Thanks Kim,

    I am good with that.
    Accept it as truth :-)

I just found I had uploaded the zip file instead of uloading the files and folders individually and directly. So now I am uploading it all once again.

My memory failed thinking I should simply move the zip file as zip file to the webhost.
