    Default BigDump

If you are having problems importing or exporting large MySQL databases. I highly recommend you try: BigDump ver. 0.32b (beta). BigDump: Staggered MySQL Dump Importer.

It works with Zen Cart version 3x and PHP version 5.3.

It is very easy to use, super fast and will handle what phpMyAdmin can't.

It is free from the author's website and can also be found at HotScripts.com

I find the features of phpMyAdmin perfectly adequate. What are the special features of BigDump that would make it preferable to phpMyAdmin?

That would be somewhat dependent on the size of your DB.

One semi-undocumented feature of BigDump is that it will not upload a MySQL DB that has any errors in syntax, indexing keys or other. This in itself makes for a good debugging tool while in development.

BigDump is just another tool that can be used.

Not all hosts offer PHPmyAdmin or limit privileges. Tools like BigDump and MySQL Workbench, IIS may provide some users a needed alternative to PHPmyAdmin.
