    you need to do this,
Then you copy the file called includes/templates/template_default/template_info.php, and put it inside includes/templates/CUSTOM/. Next, open includes/templates/CUSTOM/template_info.php

Under tutorials, search for new template.

CUSTOM= the name of your custom template.

How many folders did you create for your custom template? How many files did you edit?

It is a template that I downloaded and it's called Template 241
    It has:
\template241\includes\templates\241 and then these file system inside 241

    -buttons
    -common
    -css
    -images
    -sideboxes
    template_info.php

Are you sure about that path? It doesn't look right to me. I would expect it to look like \includes\templates\templatename

There's definitely something odd about the path. If I do a view source while that template is in use, I get includes/templates/241/ as the path. I'm not sure why you have /template241/ at the beginning. I could be wrong, but I think that's at least part of the problem.

I checked the path is ok. But what should I do. Do I have to upload all 241 folder in includes/templates? and then what to do with template_info.php

I can't find a comprehensive simple tutorial to how change templates in Zencart. That's the first thing you want to do in Zencart. That's crazy!!

I can't find a comprehensive simple tutorial to how change templates in Zencart
Changing them is done from the admin

    You must mean "install" them...

As most all that I have seen are already in the ZenCart directory structure, it is a simple process of copying/uploading via some FTP Client to your server

This process is most like that of copying on a windows computer using explorer

Bottom line one needs to understand that to be able to use most FTP Clients
