Default Currency Update broken after domain transfer

    Hi,

I made a demo site on one domain, (currency update works), Then installed it on a new Domain and dumped the database over.

Everything works fine on the new domain, I made all the approprate config and admin changes.

However when I hit update currencies it delivers all red errors saying it cant connect with the currency info.

When I go back to the demo site it works fine.

Both are on godady. Both have the same Admin>My Store curl settings.

Both have the same curl server info found in Admin>Tools Server Version/Info

Is there a domain specific change I missed on a currency.php page or in config?

    Nadia

Zen Cart has no specific settings related to communications for currency updates. And no domain-specific settings related to currencies either. ALL domain-specific stuff is in HTTP_SERVER and HTTPS_SERVER settings in your configure.php files. That's it.
The CURL Proxy Status should ALWAYS be set to false.

If your Zen Cart is reporting that it cannot connect to the servers to obtain currency info, then as long as ALL the php files are completely intact, your problem is not with Zen Cart, but rather it's with your hosting service: namely that it cannot contact external servers. Time to log a ticket. And if GD can't fix it, find a more consistent and reliable hosting company.
