    Default Gift Certificate FAQ Remove Not working right

    Hi,

    I have the Gift Certificate Module Disabled/Removed from my site. (Admin>Modules>Order Total>Gift Certs.. etc)

    While the link to these pages has been removed on the front-end of my store. Google is still indexing these pages and when I follow the link from google I can see all the Gift Certificate FAQ page.

    How can I remove / disable these pages completely? So that they simply do not show or get indexed or even exist?

    Remove, from the server, the 3 page directories for the Gift Certificates:
    /includes/modules/pages/gv_faq
    /includes/modules/pages/gv_redeem
    /includes/modules/pages/gv_send

    Save them on your computer for the future, should you decide to use them ...

    Now, with everything turned off and the directories removed, the pages cannot be accessed and there is nothing to there for the spiders to munch on ...

    I have a similar situation, but not exactly. I offer discount coupons, but I do not and never will offer gift certificates. How can I make Gift Certificates disappear while leaving Coupons active?

    Cancel my previous question - I found it exactly where Dutchy said it would be (Admin>Modules>Order Total>Gift Certs.. etc).
