image problem Problems with external pages

Hello, my name is Chris and I manage a website where my boss sells GoPro Cameras.

I made a (let's call it in this way) Mini-site inside the site, to explain the feature of the new 3d cameras. The directory tree of my website is something like this:

    Root
+ 3d (this is the directory where my mini-site is)
    + bmz_cache
    + cache
    + docs
    + download
    + includes
    ...

and so on. The main goal is to let you understand where my website is, outside Zen Cart. The site is www.gopro-camera.it, so, if you go to www.gopro-camera.it/3d/ you can load an index.html file and read all the information.

The problem is that, yesterday we were talking, and we are afraid that reading that pages for a long time (half an hour or more), the session of the customer will expired and they have to re-put the articles in the basket.

    So, my questions are:

    - Is it possible to put those pages inside the session of Zen Cart?

    - Can I do EZ Pages, without the column bar of the right, integrating the jQuery script just in that page and not modifing the html_header in the /includes/template/my_template/common?

I thank you for your nice job and I hope that you could solve my problem.

    Thank You
    Chris from Italy

I don't think you ever want to hard-code a session id in a link.

I would use EZ pages for that information, and you can turn off the right column on those pages with a page-specific stylesheet. Check the includes/templates/classic/css/CSS_read_me.txt file.

Yes, you can use ez-pages for your content, as long as you don't need to run PHP inside the page content. See the wiki for a description of how to include javascript/jQuery without modifying PHP files (search for jscript_).

You can hide the sidebar without editing files:
    Configuration > EZ-Pages Settings > EZ-Pages Pages to disable right-column
