    Default Adding text to checkout_confirmation checkout_payment

    I want to add some text to either or, or both checkout_confirmation checkout_payment about products not being returnable. Where and how would I manage this?

    I'd like to make it red on the top of the page(s)

    What country are you operating in? The question relates to the fact that many countries have laws governing Distance Selling. There are only a few exceptions where Statutory Laws may limit a customer's right to return goods.

    Make sure you aren't breaking the laws of your country by making a "Products non-returnable" statement.

    There are two ways you can add customised text to a template file.

    1. Either as just a bit of hard-coded HTML, positioned in the template where you want it. (Not the proper way to do it...)

    2. By inserting a "php echo" statement that then draws the text out of an associated DEFINE statement in a language file.

    Thanks for the info but I'm a newbie on the define statement and the php echo.

    Could you explain exactly how to do it the correct way? I would really appreciate it.

    and it is legal where i'm to not be able to return the items in the store.

    I am not sure where you would change that , but if I was a customer I really hope you tell me about this BEFORE I check out. A store telling me they do not accept returns is a store I couldnt put much trust in and one I wont do business with.

    I understand what you're saying and yes you would be told b4 the checkout process.

    If you must know what the product is that is not returnable, it's
    adult toys ok? Would you buy from a store that allows adult toys to be returned? It's just a reminder I want to put in place to make sure someone understands that if they open the item, you cannot return the item for sanitary reasons.

    Thats worded different and I would have no problem buying from a store that said that. If it was just worded " no returns " I would shy away from that.
