how to use the gmail in my admin Configuration?

hi, how to use the gmail to seed email.

SMTP Email Account Mailbox [email protected]
SMTP Email Account Password *********
SMTP Email Mail Host smtp.google.com
SMTP Email Mail Server Port 465

this is my Configuration. but when I am going to create an account. I can't receive the welcome email. who can help me. thank you very much.

If you want to use Google's SMTP service then your domain has to be registered with them, and your MX Records altered to allow Google to handle all of your domain's email services.

Um correct me if I'm wrong but you want to use gmail as the "From email" address that your customers receive?

My first thought at this was, if I was a client and got an email from a store where I just bought something and it said - gmail.

I wouldn't be that confident about the purchase that I just made.

You should have all emails from the store addressed as From [email protected] or something like that.

hi, my gmail is ok, it can send and receive emails. but I configura in my zencart admin, then when i create an account it can't send welcome email.

There is a difference between being able to login to Gmail and sending and receiving mail from Gmail, and using it as an SMTP service for your domain. To be able to do that you must set up Google Mail as your email provider (not your hosting company), and amend the MX Records to Google's MX Records.
