    Default Upgraded successfully but installation comes up

    I just did an upgrade from 1.3.8a to 1.3.9h and I get to the page after database upgrade where I get the congratulations of the installation. Everything goes through just fine.

    BUT when I go to the store and/or admin stills showing the installation setup.

    Customer is hosted on Dreamhost
    PHP Version 5.2.15
    MySQL 5.1.53-log
    tracyhassett.com

    Any idea?

    Most often, that's caused by #2 - incorrect path info in the two configure.php files. Did you check that ?

    I suspected it was that but since it's a Dreamhost panel, I don't find that info, so I just gathered the info from the other site I'm getting the database from. It is in the same server but not the same site.

    I will see if I find that path somewhere.

    To find out the full (and correct) pathway to the root of your domain do this:

    1. Create a new text document on your desktop and name it cwd.php. Ignore the warning about changing the file type.

    2. Put this code into it:
    <?php $p = getcwd(); echo $p; ?>
    3. Upload it to the root of your domain via FTP.

    4. Go to http://www.yourdomain.com/cwd.php via your browser and printed on the screen will be the full pathway to the root of your domain.

    5. Write down that pathway and then delete the cwd.php file from your hosting.
