images are stretched ot

Hi Everyone!

I've just upgraded my zc from 1.3.7 to 1.3.9..

since then the images have been stretched, but ive checked the configuration from the old version to the new version,a nd all the settings in admin stayed the same

but the pictures are now off scaled..

I don't know exactly what you had done in the previous version, but currently, in the case of the Cosmo Cricket image, for example, you're asking Zencart to resize an image with dimensions of 900 X 246 to 150 X 150 - you're going to get some warpage.

Much better to resize the category images manualy to the proper dimensions or install the Image Handler 2 mod.

That's the thing. Everything in terms of image specs is the same, and I do have IH 2 install in both 1.3.7 and now 1.3.9.

ive spent the whole day looking at it, and cant figure it out..

any help would be appreciated..

It's been a long time since I've used IH2, but if it were installed and operating properly, you (I) wouldn't be seeing the large images being resized. If I recall correctly, IH2 creates the proper sized images for each position from the largest image. I'd double check to see that IH2 is doing its job first.

I can say that the reason the images are warped is as I described in post #2.
