    This may narrow the issue down to Dr Byte. It seems that we both have the Free Shipper module enabled with multiple store zones.
    Both of you,

    Can you explain how you've got your Free Shipper module configured? Is it just set to the defaults of $0.00, $0.00, tax-class "none", and sort order "0", but with a zone assigned?
    I'd like to try setting up my site to match what you're doing.
    The details for the zone you've assigned will be important as well too.

    And what other shipping modules do you have set up? And how are they configured? Do they have zones assigned? Do they have price restrictions of some sort on them which would limit whether they're available on certain purchases, like zones do?

    I notice we both have sort order to '0' and in other areas this means the item in question will not show, could it have an affect here?

    If all your modules are set to 0 sort order, then it's fine. If you've set non-zero value on anything, then *everything* should get a nonzero value.

    Without seeing your logs, and without putting your database content back so that it has the original content that Zen Cart ships with, it's extremely difficult to lump your problem into the random symptoms discussed in this thread. You could try the code change I posted in #20, but that's unlikely to be a solution for you.
    The only value for you in looking at this thread is for *you* to identify specific configurations that you have in common with those who have already posted. Anything else is merely speculation and unhelpful.
    You're already discussing this in several other threads.

    Idea or Suggestion Re: Geographic area Paypal problem

    Who is the n00b who is not able to code properly??....

    In the file /includes/modules/payment/paypalwpp.php
    Replace this line:
    $sql = $db->bindVars($sql, ':countryId', $address_question_arr['country']['title'], 'string');
    by:
    $sql = $db->bindVars($sql, ':countryId', $address_question_arr['country']['iso_code_2'], 'string')
    In our case we were using "England", "Wales", etc as countries into Zen Cart~ not "United Kingdom" as a whole. This prevent flexibility in the countries' management.

    red flag [duplicate] geographic region error

    The error: "We are sorry for the inconvenience; however, at the present time we are unable to use PayPal to process orders from the geographic region you selected as your PayPal address. Please continue using normal checkout and select from the available payment methods to complete your order."

    comes from /include/payment/paypalwbb.php

    line:
    $sql = $db->bindVars($sql, ':countryId', $address_question_arr['country']['title'], 'string');
    triggering this mySQL query:
    SELECT countries_id, address_format_id
    FROM zen_countries
    WHERE countries_iso_code_2 = 'United Kingdom'
    OR countries_name = 'United Kingdom'
    LIMIT 1
    should be:
    $sql = $db->bindVars($sql, ':countryId', $address_question_arr['country']['iso_code_2'], 'string');
    It should use the ISO code, a lot safer than a country title!
    In our case we were using "England", "Wales", etc as countries into Zen Cart~ not "United Kingdom" as a whole. This prevent flexibility in the countries' management.

    A lot of people had this issue over the past few months, as per my post here.

    Hoping you will include it in the next release....
