USPS Shipping Module by MarcoB - RateV4, IntlRateV2 - Support Thread

Maybe can someone help me. I have installed the updates as explained. I have looked at post after post and can not find help on the issue below. When you go to the checkout and shipping options should appear, this is what you get for USPS:

We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

It seems like the usps shipping module is calling a function that does not exist?

What version php are you running? file_put_contents is php 5 ...

My host is iPage and they are running PHP Version:4.4.9
Does this mean it will not work? Is there a way around this issue?

I wrote the provider and they told me where to switch the php version used on their control panel. By default they set it low for reasons I do not know.

I am trying to get it to work now it will let me choose the method but then I get the same error screen after that.

I am still having issues with php it seems there is some kind of write permission I am missing??

What code do you see on lines 320 to 330 in that file?

so..I installed the latest update........v15 ratev3..
and I did an estimate shipping on a product......but no first class USPS shows up....only

why is it doing that?
