They go in the same /images/ folder as they do online, in your Zen Cart installation folder (C:/xampp/htdocs/test/ or wherever you have it).
OK so they will thus go into c:\wamp\www\zencart\images?
Then when I add the file path on the Define Pages, do I make the path c:\wamp\www\zancart\images\image.gif or will it be like somethin localhost or how would the path look like?

You can and should use relative filepaths, like images\image.gif . Zen Cart will automatically add the correct rest of the path, and will still work if you move the site to a live server.
I have tried i all! here is my DIR:
C:\wamp\www\Zencart
Under this I have the following folders:
admin
cache
docs
download
editors
extras
images
includes
media
pub
Ive tried to put image.gif under just:
C:\wamp\www\Zencart
C:\wamp\www\Zencart\images
C:\wamp\www\Zencart\pub
C:\wamp\www\Zencart/media
C:\wamp\www\Zencart\download
And I tried all of the posible paths:
C:\wamp\www\Zencart\image.gif
C:\wamp\www\Zencart\images\image.gif
C:\wamp\www\Zencart\pub\image.gif
C:\wamp\www\Zencart/media\image.gif
C:\wamp\www\Zencart\download\image.gif
image.gif
c:\wamp\image.gif
Ive tried it all! Im StUcK please help!

Try
Code:http:localhost/Zencart/images/image.gif
In what you posted you did not reference using this...Originally Posted by dogjumps

Oh ok wait I get it... the localhost part takes the place of the C:\wamp\www because c:\wamp\www is my physical path on my hard drive but I need to speak in server terms... Cool lets see if this works but I think I understand the concept now.

Oops, and I was posting hastily - you should use the web form
images/image.gif
not the Microsoft internal file form
images\image.gif
