Can not log in to Admin Page or See Site

I am no longer able to login to admin area or go to my site. Can get to the admin login page but when I enter my user name & password, I get the following error.

This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

I get this same error when logging into site. Here are the two links

Have you made any recent changes to your site? Has your hosting made any changes to the server?

I have been editing pages to get it up and running. I did find the file that has the error logs and this is the error.

Not sure how to correct the problem.

Replace that file with a clean original.

Ok - I did replace that file with a clean file and now I can log into the Admin area but still get the error when I am trying to go to the site.

I was able to figure out what I needed to fix and my site is back up and running. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Can you please share how you fixed this issue. This has just started happening to me. One minute it was working and the other it stopped without any changes being made.

First of all post back any errors in this folder..

root directory/ cache

All seems to work again now without doing anything. Strange thing was that it also affected my other zen cart (older version I'm upgrading from) in the same manner so I think that it was literally an internal error caused by the server protecting itself from attack or something. I simply left it for a while then tried again, put my password and login details and this time it worked which is a relief. It would have been nice to find out exactly what caused this mind but nothing shows in the error logs.
