Header Logo will not change

Hello, I am trying to upgrade the header logo for my Zen Cart site with a crisper image. I followed the tutorial on changing the header image:

However, after completing the steps outlined in this guide my logo did not change.

Here's me adding the new image into the correct folder via Filezilla, as outlined by the tutorial:




And here is the change I made to my header.php file to have it use logo.png as the header instead of logo.gif:



So why hasn't my header logo changed?

I don't see a link to your site. Maybe the logo is hardcoded into the header not using Zen Cart default method.

There's no telling what the PHP looks like, but the header area HTML output is totally custom and uses none of the standard classes or ids (typical Template Monster behavior). It may not work the way it ought to for switching the logo image. Seeing your template copy of /includes/templates/your_template/common/tpl_header.php may let us advise you how to get it done.

I solved this problem by using the same file name/type for my replacement picture. Not really a "fix", more like avoiding the underlying problem.

The problem is in your template not Zen Cart. This is common with Template Monster templates.

Wait till you have to upgrade your software and see what kind of problems you will face.
