Shipping Options

Ideally we would like the following options

UK/IRELAND orders FREE SHIPPING normal delivery

As above but insured delivery £x

REST OF WORLD £y normal delivery

As above but insured delivery £z

Is above possible and if so how is it achieved ?

I have a similar question.
I would like to just show 4 delivery amounts that the customer can pick that aren't linked to anything to do with what they order or their address.

I have trawled the faqs and forum and can't find this anywhere, perhaps it's not allowed?

My current solution is to have a category with the delivery options as different items that they pick before completing the order. This is a sloppy solution.

I too are looking for a simple "uk Free" and "rest of the world £15" but dont know how to do it?!

Use the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping and enable the Free Shipping and set for orders over 0.00 and set to National ...

Use the Modules ... Shipping ... Zone Rates zones ...

Set the Skipped Countries to: GB

Skip Countries, use a comma separated list of the two character ISO country codes

Set the settings for Zone 1 to Price:

Calculation Method
Calculate cost based on Weight, Price or Item?

Set the Zone 1 Countries to 00

Set the Zone 1 Rate to:

10000:15.00

Set the other Zone Countries blank ...

You are most welcome ... there are other ways to do this, but this is a method that allows you to do this without code changes other than, perhaps, language changes ...
