    Default model numbers

My lawyer said I must change the zen-cart "model number" to say "item number" .
Where would I find that file and how would I change just that word?
    Thanks

In your admin you will find a very handy tool:

    admin>tools>developers toolkit

use this to search for "model number" and you will see all the files which include that term, you will need to change the ones in the language file for your template

Thanks ...but I have tried to use that many, many times and it never gives me any response other than:

Error: No matching Configuration Keys were found ... model numbers

I'm probably not using it correctly but it is so far from user friendly that I can't seem to get any response.

    ok try it slightly different:

in the first row named "Look-up CONSTANT or Language File defines"

enter "Products Model" choose "All language files English..." in the next box then click search
    It will work trust me

    As an aside

    What reasoning did he provide??

Model number is only the human text associated with the value in the database - - it is not the property of ZenCart
