problem when I insert a new product

Hi all,

I have a zen cart v1.38 and it was working correctly, but when my host update the server, I found this problem:
when I insert a new product and after review, this message appeare:

2006 MySQL server has gone away
in:
[select languages_id, name, code, image, directory from zen_languages order by sort_order]

And I can't insert any product, but all thing else up to now work well.

note: updating the products work correctly.

I try this code

ALTER TABLE db_cache CHANGE COLUMN cache_data cache_data MEDIUMBLOB

then this

# change cache tracking size
TRUNCATE TABLE db_cache;
ALTER TABLE db_cache CHANGE cache_data cache_data mediumblob;

but no change.
I'll try to upgrade to 139h.
