(EDIT: the sidebox, including the fix, still works as usual here)

Yes I applied that....cleared browser cache...then about an hour later tweets sowed up... The next day no tweets showing again..tried clearing browser cache still no tweets? Sorry I am new to this...is this how it should work?

Well, it is correct that it takes a while before the first tweets show, that indicates that the cache works. You can speed that up if you like by refreshing the cache manually by adding ?refresh_twitter_cache to your url.

But the tweets should not disappear, no idea (yet) where that comes from

Today I noticed some connection errors are not handled correctly by the mod (which might explain some of the reported incidental problems), and also found a fix for it.

I hope I will find the time to update soon, of course the api url correction will then be included.

- Previously the timeout setting only worked when the connection to Twitter failed, now the same timeout is used to abort an update when the connection succeeds but the Twitter response fails or lags

- Automated character set conversion (ISO-8859-1,UTF-8).
- Fixed api url setting
