Easy Populate 1.2.5.7.csv not importing price

I'm using Easy Populate 1.2.5.7.csv on my install of Zen Cart v1.3.9h.

I have tried everything I can think of, but no matter what I do, when I upload the .CSV file of my products list, the price is omitted. And every price that I entered manually is erased.



I have over 6980 products listed on my website for free...
I haven't seen mention of anyone else having had this problem, am I doing something wrong?

I'm gonna try again, but that article didn't seem to address my problem. But, starting from scratch, maybe it'll work.

Having same issue. I did have one problem and that was my model numbers were not added. After adding that I did have some progress but still working on the price and the file showing in the temp folder.

The problem (i found out) with the prices not uploading, was that my spreadsheet had the price column set to "currency" format... This automatically inserted a "$" in front of the number. I had to change it to "text" or "normal" so that only the 555.55 was showing and not "$555.55"

Apparently the EasyPopulate system can't read that sign so just omits the whole cell.

An easy fix once I realized what was wrong.

(hope it helps you) Not sure what to do about the model numbers though.
and as for getting the files in the temp folder, try using Filezilla. Its been great for me for years.

Ive had a heck of a time getting my pricing to show up in zencart with easy populate 4.
Ive looked and searched for 2 days now.

Glad this helped you with your issue, mind sharing the problem and resolution in the EP4 thread? Might save the next person with the same issue some time. Mind you, it is not so much an EP (any version) issue as it is a CSV/database issue. Prices are not stored with a currency symbol in the product price and therefore when providing a CSV for reading, that file should not contain any additional unrelated information. They (currency symbols) do get stored in some fields of the orders table and other support tables, but that is a topic for a different program/discussion.
