Basically what you are asking can be done but exactly how is the question. For that we need more details.

All your sub-domains can show the same pages if you install Zen Cart into each sub-directory and use the same Theme. They can all use the same database but that is not recommended.

    why is that not recommended?

I would like to have many shops with one account.

They will pay a subscription for our services all shops are in one location.

    It's basically a big market.

So all of my customers can have their own shop and we take care of purchases and delivery. We also take care of their existing products and new products via an upload page. Hmm....

Is there a better way to have many shops maybe via a sub-domain?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards

    Illya

This sounds like one of those "Champagne tastes but Beer pockets" questions. Zen Cart doesn't do what you want - and neither does any other available shopping cart software. The companies that provide services like this use software which they have paid to have custom-built for them.

Provided you have a budget of 10's or 100's of thousands of pounds you could get one built to your requirements.

The Zen Cart multi-sites add-on does NOT do what you want done. That module has not been updated for 2 years, and isn't certified to work with the latest versions of Zen Cart. Given the complexity of the module I doubt that anyone will want to take on the onerous job of updating it again. Zen Cart is also not set up to handle subscription based services.

subscription based services could be done via a single paypal link not via the shopping cart.

But we will be in close contact with our customers on a more personal level.
