Express Checkout Account Creation

In the admin, I've set the "Express Checkout: Automatic Account Creation" so that if a visitor is not an existing customer, a Zen Cart account is created for them anyway. Now, I'm checking the orders, but am not sure whether the customers have actually created an account or not. How do I know they've created an account or not?

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking, or why.

If there's an order, there's an account. And you can confirm that by looking in your Customers list to see their account.

We inform the customers we'll email them a welcome gift when they create an account. The gift for now is a little discount, which none of them have been using so far. I’m just curious why

The Express Checkout module doesn't send the "new customer discount coupon". That presently only happens if the customer creates an account themselves.
