You will have to ask the template supplier

Switch to the classic template and if that works determine what it is about the template that prevents it

Yes, you can. The links in the blue bar on the default demo install are ezpages.

Within past few days I downloaded this template for testing on my test domain. Have to say: I really like it! Changed some colors. Very workable and good looking template.

Have IH3 and Lightbox working on it.

Something to play with, but have to keep switching back to my "real" template for testing.

One thing I really like: when customer logs in to view order history, any admin comments are properly lined up across from date. Not so in any "regular" template I've used, when comments go in to other paragraphs.

I read lots of comments about not using TM templates, and the upgrade concerns may be valid. But actually, everytime zencart has an upgrade it can be a problem with any mod/customization we already have.

At some point LOOKS from the customer viewpoint has to be a factor. In fact, I'd say that from the customer end, how the site looks is probably 100% of the equation. Maybe ease of use in there somewhere.

The standard Free zencart templates may be less problematic with upgrades, but few really look that great...IMO.

I might go with a Lightinthebox theme if I could find one for a reasonable price. I googled, there may be one for zencart.
