UPS Shipping to US Only

Hello,

I've searched the forum for an answer, but to no avail.

Question: I'm using the UPS shipping module and wish to ONLY ship to US, Canada, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands. How do I set this up?

Currently the UPS Shipping Estimator shows every country in the world in the drop-down to choose from. Can I change this to only a few countries? Maybe edit the txt file that contains the country list?

You need to make a Zone Definition for just the Countries/Zones that you want to ship to ...

Luci, If you knew what difficulty that I just had tryin to set up something similar in mine, you would be surprised that I am going to attempt to help you. But the best way to master something is to teach it, so here goes.

Admin/Locations-Taxes/Zone Definitions
INSERT - Give your new zone a name, let's say 'US Special'. And a description, maybe 'US/CAN/PR/VI'. Save with INSERT.
Choose your new 'US Special' zone, then click DETAIL then INSERT. Set Country to US, and Zone to All. Save with INSERT.
Click INSERT three more times, setting up Canada/All, Puerto Rico/All, and Virgin Islands/All. Save with Insert each time.
This completes your Zone.

Now go to Admin/Modules/Shipping and edit each shipping module you are using. In each module click EDIT and set Shipping Zone to 'US Special'.

A follow up to this thread - now that I have my "US Special" zone setup and I've selected it in the UPS module - now the UPS module is showing a status "light or bulb" of yellow - it was green before i set the zone.......any thoughts?

Is it becuase my "taxes" are not set for the new zones?

That yellow indicates that you have placed a limitation on the Shipping Module, in this case the Zone Definition that you added ...
