    Default Cannot save changes in admin panel

    Hi All,

    System Details: v1.3.9h. Clean Install. No Addons. Hosting: Bluehost.

    My installation appears to work well but when I attempt to change any of the settings under Admin, the change is accepted but not saved.

    Could this be anything to do with directory permissions?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi All,

    Just wanted to add;

    The version of Zen Cart I installed already had the admin security patch applied and I verified that it was applied correctly in html_output.php.

    I'm not clear what EXACTLY your symptoms really are. A lot more detailed info would be useful.

    Hi DrByte,

    The Zen Cart installation appears to be fine but it is impossible for me to make any changes in Admin. The change is accepted but not saved and I am returned to the main admin page.

    Could you go to your Zen Cart Admin and to the Tools ... Server/Version Info ...

    What do you see in the in the top portion in white under the:
    Server Information

    Hi Ajeh,

    Thanks for taking the time to reply.

    I have just this minute resolved the issue.

    It occurred to me that it may have something to do with my http > https redirect in my .htaccess file. I removed the redirection and now it works.

    Hopefully, my experience will help others. I am off for a coffee now
