Default Attribute variables or skip/branch & advanced attribute pricing help

I have two problems I need help with and they both involve attributes. I have a checklist at the bottom.

Add an attribute choice based on a previous selection:
I sell custom designed photo books. Each book comes with options including leather type, leather color, add additional pages, cover options, paper finishes, design style and more.

I understand the basics of attributes. I understand how to add attributes and influence the price using the + - price factor.

How do you add an option to be revealed only based on a previous selection? Example, for one of our books we have a two-tone leather option as well as a single tone leather option. If the customer selects the single tone option, they need to be able to select from only one category of leather colors. If the customer selects the two-tone option, they need to be able to select a color from group A, then a color from group B. I do not want customers to even see the options for two-tone if they select single tone, as this would be confusing. Is there a sort of skip/branch plug-in to achieve this?

I realize that I could get around this by creating two-toned / single tone covers each as their own product.... the problem with this is that I have already had to create a new product for each size, so the products will become cluttered.

    Question 2:
While I do understand attributes + - price. I DO NOT understand the following 4 fields: price factor: offest: / One Time Factor: Offset: / Attributes Qty Price Discount: / Onetime Attributes Qty Price Discount:

I have read through many help tutorials, videos, etc., and while I have seen these items in a bullet list, I can never find real definitions for them as to what they do.

    Here's my check list:

Add an attribute choice based on a previous selection:
That would be dependent attributes and there is no support for them in ZenCart

Thank you, I wasn't sure. But now I still need an answer to the latter part of my question (thanks):

Make a test product add an attribute to it

if left default the pfactor & offset will not come into play

One can use these to tailor pricing of attribute

As I recall factor is an inverse relationship to the items base price

Try making it 1 see what it does then make it 2 and see
Go back and make it 0.5 and see

offset adjusts the calc'd price 1 subtracts one base price from the final price

    The remainder seem self explanatory
    One Time Factor: Offset
    Attributes Qty Price Discount
    Onetime Attributes Qty Price Discount
