    Default Starting Site Completely Over

I want to delete all the templates I have (3 of them) and all the add ons that I have installed with them. I want to basically delete everything except the products and descriptions. Is there a way to do that? I just think I need a fresh start to get my site exactly how I want it.

    Thanks!

Some modules make alterations to the database, so deleting custom templates and all add-ons may not remove the changes from the database.

If a template or module DID write in some dbase changes, then you should run any UNINSTALL.SQL files that were distributed with those modules.

An easier solution would be to use EASY POPULATE to export all your product data, then do a completely new, fresh install of ZC1.3.9h, and then use easy Populate to load your products into the new zc store.

I think I will try using the Easy Populate. I hate to lose all my products as I have over 1900 of them lol.

I looked in the add on section and there is a lot of Easy Populate's out there. Could you tell me which one it would be?

    Thanks for the help!

I haven't used Easy Populate, but what I read here in the forum suggests this is the one you want:

Sorry one more question. If I start completely over I will lose all of my customers information, all of my bestsellers, and also purchase products? Or is there a way to save all that and re up load it?

    Thanks!

All of that information is in your database, you can keep it and simply replace the "files" section of the site - see the tutorials about upgrading - the principals are the same.
Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

Thanks Kim! I hated the thought of losing all that info.
